How to price your COMIND® pass-through heater?
To quote your COMIND® pass-through heater, you must provide your dealer with the power and voltage of the heater, what it will be used for, the time it takes to heat the solution, provide general measurements, and the dimensions of the inlets and outlets.
COMIND® pass-through heaters consist of a carbon steel or stainless steel chamber, inside which a flange or thread type resistance is mounted, which allows the temperature of a liquid or gas to be increased only for the time it is heated. It takes a long time to pass through the heater, with an inlet and outlet chamber that allows the flow of whatever you want to heat to pass through. It allows the thinning of high density oils to allow an easy flow through a pump, heating oil (for example oil), increasing the temperature of different gases or air, heating water to be stored in reserve tanks, heat transfer, wash and rinses associated with different detergents. Therefore, it is very important to consider the viscosity of the fluid you want to heat at the time of purchase. COMIND® pass-through heaters have a moisture-resistant or anti-explosive terminal box for extreme environments, which will allow you to regulate the minimum and maximum temperature that you want to reach in your process.
Insulation is often required for containers in order to preserve the heat that is applied within the container. Thermocouple probes can be used with electric immersion heaters to keep oil or water at desired temperatures.
Within the national industries that use this type of heating, there are oil and gas companies specifically that use pass-through heaters that help in the process of modifying the viscosity of the oils they heat. This allows heat to be generated within a single enclosure or solution, thus achieving full efficiency.
The benefits of using our COMIND® pass-through heaters are that they are easy to install, compact, durable, very energy efficient, designed at the customer’s request, reducing heat loss from the container, among others
