Duct-heaters

COMIND’s electric air heating batteries are designed to generate controlled-temperature air currents for various industrial applications and processes. They can be composed of different components, such as finned tubular heaters or plain tubular heaters, depending on the application, providing temperatures up to 260°C.

Their design and dimensions are carefully engineered by our technical department to facilitate easy insertion into ventilation channels or ducts.

Some of the applications where COMIND heating batteries are used include ovens, autoclaves, locations within ducts, non-uniform air flow, freeze prevention, air dryers, forced air systems, and more.

Among the benefits of our COMIND heating batteries are easy installation and maintenance, durability, and their resistance to moisture and dust.

COMIND’s electric heating batteries can be produced in two versions: Flange Connection: Connected to the installation via a flange system. Slip-On Connection: Installed directly into ducts or ventilation systems. In both cases, the heating elements are designed to facilitate maintenance operations or the eventual replacement of parts. Each heater model may feature protection mechanisms that regulate the sheath temperature in case of surface overheating of the heating elements. This is done to prevent damage to the product or the containing installation. Depending on the specific application, COMIND recommends using thermal controls, such as control thermostats, safety thermostats, thermocouples (J or K types), or a PT100 thermistor.
